About the founder

The collector behind
Happy Pens Archive.

Denny Vienko

Collector, restorer and founder of HPA.

Exploring fountain pens, documenting their variants
and building an archive for collectors.

My Story

My interest in fountain pens grew into collecting, restoration and photography. I began to look more closely at the differences between models and variants.

I wanted to know which versions of a model exist, how they differ and which ones are still missing from a collection.

Happy Pens Archive brings this information together. I also build tools that help collectors organise their pens and keep their own records.

My Approach

Know the variants

Record known versions of each model so collectors can see what exists and how the pens differ.

Respect the pen

Take care with each pen’s materials, parts and original features when studying or restoring it.

Keep it useful

Use clear information and helpful photos to make pens easier to recognise, understand and compare.
